Deep Cryogenic Treatment - (DCT) Adding Depth Clarity & Timing To Music ....

The DCT process involves precise cooling of audio components to temperatures approaching -196 degrees centigrade, and sustaining this extreme cold over a ‘soak’ period. At extremely low temperatures remarkable changes occur within the conductor wires, specifically a smoothing of the grain boundaries within the molecular structure of the wire. This unique transformation means you will experience much less distortion and harshness when you listen to your favourite music.

Polar Samurai DCT++ and Polar Emperor DCT++

Improvements to the manufacturing processes by which we produce the basic cable prior to Deep Cryogenic Treatment for POLAR Emperor DCT and POLAR Samurai DCT has enabled us to combine the lower cost cable geometry of the POLAR Samurai DCT with the higher performance quality of the POLAR Emperor DCT. As a result we can now offer both POLAR Samurai DCT++ and POLAR Emperor DCT++ with additional sound enhancement processes that we have previously offered in the POLAR Ninja DCT++.

The new cables represent a substantial improvement in musical quality at a comparatively small extra price, making both cables even better value for money.

The presence of an Emperor - The distinguished quality of a Samurai .....

The POLAR Emperor DCT++ will be supplied in a single wire configuration with each conductor having a cross section of 6 square mm. The benefits of this configuration are tighter bass and sharper imaging.

The POLAR Samurai DCT++ will be supplied in the BiWire configuration, each cable having 2 connectors at the amplifier end and 4 connectors at the speaker end.

Both cables are supplied in fixed lengths with either spade or 4mm connectors.

  • Low loss Silicone Rubber insulation for more accurate portrayal of the leading edges and decays in your music.
  • Silicone Rubber also delivers a more flowing musical sound quality when compared with other high quality low loss insulation made from harder materials that by comparison deliver a more brittle harsher sound.
  • The Silicone Rubber is post cured after manufacture to remove excess impurities in the Silicone Rubber that were created during manufacture, creating an even purer quality of sound.
  • Deep Cryogenic Treatment of the cable by Frozen Solid Audio Ltd. Delivers a more regular molecular structure to the conductors - resulting in a smoother more natural sound- and all aspects of sound quality are improved.
